KIm then announced that veteran wrestler Mercedes Martinez will compete at the show; she was released by WWE last month, ending her run with the company after she signed with WWE in 2020.
Additionally, Kim announced that the event will feature the Daffney Memorial Monster’s Ball match as a tribute to the late Daffney. Kim also stated that IMPACT Knockouts Champion Deonna Purrazzo will defend her title against a mystery competitor, and Lady Frost, Renee Michelle, and former Knockout of the Year Christy Hemme will also be part of the event.

IMPACT previously held Knockouts Knockdown events from 2013-2016. The event was also held under the Victory Road banner in 2017.
In the main event of the first show, Gail Kim won a gauntlet match to win the “Queen of the Knockouts” crown.
