The B-Movies Podcast #295 | Never Sleepaway Camp Again

Halloween got a lot less happy this week. All throughout the month of October, The B-Movies Podcast is reviewing whole horror franchises. We started with A Nightmare on Elm Street, teamed up with filmmaker Don Coscarelli for Phantasm, went WAY downhill for Leprechaun, plateaued a bit with the Wishmaster movies, and now we’re stuck in the outhouse of terror with the mostly awful Sleepaway Camp movies. To be clear our listeners specifically asked us to review the Sleepaway Camp franchise. Apparently they don’t like us!

Also this week, Bibbs and Witney review the new releases Boo! A Madea Halloween, Jack Reacher: Never Go Back, Ouija: Origin of Evil, Moonlight, The Handmaiden and the re-release of the foodie classic Tampopo. And they’re taking a crack at the three biggest news stories of the week: a Willy Wonka prequel, a new Captain Planet movie, and the casting of the young Lando Calrissian!

Plus, we keep getting your letters, so we’ll keep reading them on the air! Be sure to drop us a line at bmoviespodcast@gmail.com with your comments, opinions, suggestions, the films that inspire you, your picks for the best films of the decade (so far) and your questions about Bibbs and Witney.
