Comedy fans, are you ready to make a stand against evil? Next Monday, IFC is dropping the first episode of its latest original series, Stan Against Evil, just in time for Halloween! One of our favorite comedians, Dana Gould, has created a show that features former Scrubs star, John C. McGinley and the voice of Korra, Janet Varney as the unlikely champions against the forces of darkness.
Within the world of the show, McGinley plays the widowed, ex-Sheriff, Stan Miller, who was pushed aside in favor of the new Sheriff, Evie Barret (Varney). Unfortunately for both of them, Stan’s wife may have been the only person keeping him alive and out of evil’s reach. Now it’s up to Stan and Evie to team up and confront the dark forces coming for their town…if they somehow manage to stop fighting each other first.
In CraveOnline’s exclusive clip from the series premiere of Stan Against Evil, Stan takes his belligerence to a new level as he and Evie search for answers among the belongings of Stan’s wife. And let’s just say that Stan goes pretty far to make a point, even if it nearly cost him his life…and Evie’s life too!

The first episode of Stan Against Evil will air twice on Halloween night, October 31 at 11pm and 11:30pm. The following Wednesday, November 2, Stan Against Evil will move into its regular time slot at 10pm and 10:30pm, with two back-to-back episodes.
