Nine Inch Nails, Queens of the Stone Age and punk veterans Jawbreaker will headline Riot Fest 2017. The annual Chicago music festival, which started in 2005, will return to Douglas Park on Sept. 15-17.

Riot Fest 2017’s first wave lineup announcement also includes: New Order, Paramore, Prophets of Rage, M.I.A., Action Bronson, TV on the Radio, Wu-Tang Clan, a DJ set by the Beastie Boys’ Mike D, Chicago industrial-rock icons Ministry, rising hip-hop star Vic Mensa and many more.

Also: Arcade Fire, Chance the Rapper, the Killers, Muse Headline Lollapalooza 2017

The big score for Riot Fest 2017 is Jawbreaker, which continues the festival’s tradition of reuniting a crowd-favorite band that hasn’t played together in years (last year it was Glenn Danzig re-joining the Misfits and in 2013 it was the Replacements).

In case you don’t know, Jawbreaker were punk rock’s “punk rock” band, who were rising up from the underground scene after only to break up in 1996 following a tour in support of their 1995 album Dear You. Word is that the reunion is a one-off exclusive show, and currently, no further tour dates or appearances have been planned.

Three-day passes ($149.98) for Riot Fest 2017 go on sale at noon (CDT) Wednesday at ticketfly.com.
