I of course am not going to reveal whether I’ve ever received a bonus or not at my job. The only thing I’m going to reveal is that I’ve never been handed a free Twinkie, let alone a year supply of free Twinkies. But if you work for Hostess that is exactly what you’re going to get.
Hostess is revealing that along with giving its employees a $1,2500 cash bonus, they are also giving all of its employees free Twinkies and Ding Dongs for an entire year.
Here’s what the Hostess CEO, Daren Metropoulos had to say:
“The recent tax-reform changes have given us the opportunity to review our benefit and compensation structure. The company’s management and board take great pleasure in sharing the company’s success with our employees.”
Those employees must feel so good that their company is going out of their way to share the company’s success with them in the form of Twinkies and diabetes. Thanks, boss!
According to Fortune, the bonuses will be paid to its 1,036 hourly employees in the form of $750 cash and $500 toward a 401(k) contribution. And if you’re wondering how the employees will get their snacks, well they will get them delivered to them once a week as a “multi-pack.”
In conclusion, we all need to work for Hostess or become an In-N-Out store manager and make six figures.
