Actor Will Ferrell surprised and delighted both basketball fans and NBA players alike when he made a surprise appearance at the Golden State Warriors warm-up before the team’s Tuesday night game against the Clippers.
In character (and full costume) as Flint Tropics icon Jackie Moon, the Semi-Pro star worked up a sweat as he completed pregame drills with the pro ballers.
Ferrell even tried to make a few hoops with Steph Curry, succeeding one time. After collaborating with Curry on an alley-oop dunk, he gave the MVP some tips from the foul line. He also showed off his skills with some underhand free throws. About a mid-court shot, Ferrell bragged, “I make those in my sleep.”
Player. Owner. Coach. You name it.

Klay Thompson, who has been a vocal Jackie Moon fan and even dressed up as the character for Halloween one year, also warmed up with the comedian.
“I’m under contract,” Ferrell joked about his unexpected cameo in the pregame. “So this is the very first tryout with the team, let’s see what happens.”
