John Krasinski revealed that his wife, actor Emily Blunt, was “very excited” upon hearing that he won the PEOPLE Magazine’s “Sexiest Man Alive” title for this year. He recalled how Blunt joked that she would use his cover as the wallpaper for their house if he received the honor. Krasinski further clarified that it was a “binding contract” between them. The couple married in 2010 and share two daughters, Hazel and Violet.
In his interview with PEOPLE, Krasinski reflected on his 14-year-long marriage with Emily Blunt. The actor shared that he has constantly learned and evolved in their marriage and noted that he was lucky to go through this journey with his wife. “The Office” alum joked that the new title will only result in him doing “more household chores.” Referring to Blunt, he said, “After this comes out, she’ll be like, ‘All right, that means you’re going to really earn it here at home.'”
