Max Braunstein was crowned the winner, securing him some fun prizes. However, he also received a personal gift from Powell himself. According to Fox7Austin, many individuals assembled to participate in Powell’s lookalike contest which was held in the actor’s hometown, Austin. Powell’s aunt and mother were also in attendance for the interesting event. After numerous individuals showed up dressed like Powell, Max Braunstein won the contest.

Powell’s family awarded him with a $5 cash prize, a cowboy hat, and free queso dips from Torchy’s Tacos for a year. Powell himself also attended the event virtually via Facetime, giving a personalized touch to the proceedings.

He sent a personal video message to the event organizer, Kate Carpenter, where he confirmed what gift he was giving from his end to Braunstein. He specifically mentioned that the winner of the contest will get a chance to have a relative cameo in his next film.

Powell said, “I know there is some cash and a hat at stake here, but I just wanted to say that the winner of today’s contest gets a personal prize from me. Now, you may know that my parents make a cameo in every movie I make, but today, the winner of the Glen Powell lookalike contest wins their parents or any family member of their choice a cameo in my next movie.”

Powell’s message to the lookalike contest concluded with him asking for all of his lookalikes to take pictures of themselves and have fun in his hometown.
