Blake Lively trolled herself as she recalled her hilarious baking fail from five years ago. In 2019, the actor attempted one of the “Half Baked Harvest” recipes by the food blogger Tieghan Gerard to make Santa-shaped cookies.
The festive try turned into a mishap as the dough did not take the shape of Santa Claus. In fact, it ended up getting all mixed up and just looked like a colorful blob. Now, Gerard reminded Lively of the baking fail and the latter had a hilarious reaction to it.

According to PEOPLE, Blake Lively recently reposted Tieghan Gerard’s Instagram stories as the food blogger asked the actor to bake the Santa-shaped cookies together this year. The star tagged Half Baked Harvest’s page while reposting and wrote, “Kindly reminding me of my biggest cookie failure.”
Lively also shared the before and after of the sweet treat going into the oven. It started with the colorful cookie dough being arranged on the baking sheet in the shape of mini Santa Clauses. The caption read, “@halfbakedharvest made me do it.” The result showed that the cookies lost their shape and ended up merging after being in the oven. However, Lively added, “But there’s hope for me yet.”
Although Lively could not perfect her Santa-shaped cookies, there’s no denying she does have talent. The star has continued to flaunt her culinary skills via her Instagram stories. Last year, Lively joined Cédric Grolet, a French pastry chef, to create a cake together.
The two posted a joint Instagram reel to share a glimpse at the making process. Grolet even praised Lively and wrote, “She surprised me so much with her talent!” Later, in another Instagram post, the star gushed over having the time of her life while making the cake with the pastry chef.
