Tech Squibs: Superleggera Pro Makes ACase for Itself

SQUIB: a : a short humorous or satiric writing or speech; b : a short news item. (Merriam-Webster)

This Tech Squib points out it’s not a bad idea to make any product sound like a super car when you can.

The name “Superleggera Pro” might conjure up an image of a hot red sports car tooling around the hills above Cannes – which I’ve done by the way. I’m just saying…But smartphone protection maker Acase assigned the terminology to their new multi-layer case.

The snap-on unit combines polycarbonate and silicone. Once the phone is wrapped in a snug cutout, that combination is snapped into a cradle wrapping the entire unit. The mechanical buttons, front and rear cameras, speakers and microphone are protected but accessible. The modern materials also hold the ever slimmer phones in a sleek shell.

While not the most elaborate and indestructible case on the market, the Superleggera Pro will provide some piece of mind to a user willing to work with the tiny hatches covering its access points.
