Exclusive Video Premiere: Call of the Void ‘Napalm Lungs’

Call of the Void returns this week with a brand new video for the track “Napalm Lungs” off their scorching new record Dragged Down a Dead End Path (Relapse Records) – debuting exclusively on CraveOnline!

Blasting an incendiary mix of Napalm Death and His Hero Is Gone, Colorado hardcore-punk obliterators Call of the Void continue their path of sonic destruction with a low-end assault of dissonant chords and broken harmonies on Dragged Down A Dead End Path. Truly living up to its name, the album beats listeners into submission with a 25+ minute aural slaughterfest.

Formerly known as Ironhorse, Call of the Void’s crust and grind elements seamlessly merge to conjure visions of grind godfathers Pig Destroyer while effortlessly treading the abrasive, caustic nature of Converge’s hybrid progressive hardcore and Mastodon’s technical metal-tinged rock mastery.

Check out the performance video of “Napalm Lungs” below, for the first time anywhere, on CraveOnline!

Recorded at the Boar’s Nest in Salt Lake City, Utah by Andy Patterson, mastered by Chris Mcnaughton with the strikingly dismal cover art of Anthony Lucero, Dragged Down A Dead End Path is available now. Pick it up at the band’s Bandcamp page, and keep up with the band at the following links:
