Joss Whedon: Exclusive Saturn Awards Interview

Joss Whedon may have directed The Avengers, the biggest superhero movie of all time, but there was an era when he couldn’t even get a Wonder Woman movie off the ground. When we ran into Joss Whedon at the 2013 Saturn Awards red carpet, we asked him if he feels vindicated now that the world knows his approach to superhero movies works, and his answer – and his suggestion of a “slap line” – are priceless.

But that’s not all: We also asked Joss Whedon if the casting of Quicksilver in X-Men: Days of Future Past has affected the script for The Avengers 2 at all, and if he has any time to write original material now that Marvel Studios is keeping him so busy. At least one of his answers is bound to disappoint you, but it can’t all be good news now, can it?

All the answers are here in a tidy new CraveOnline Exclusive video, straight from the 2013 Saturn Awards. Come back soon for more exclusive Saturn Awards coverage!
