Sony just announced that Assassin’s Creed 3 will be available for free through a PlayStation Plus membership. Considering how well received it was last year, earning a plethora of perfect scores, this may just bring in more people to the PS Plus community.
Alongside that it also announced that with the purchase of a full year’s subscription you will get an extra three months right on top. So with that little bit of extra time, maybe they’ll release even more popular titles.
The release date for Assassin’s Creed 3 was said to be “soon”, hinting at September.
Sony also said that PS4 owners will receive a 14-day trial of PS Plus with their purchase. Offerings such as free access to Driveclub and Resogun will be part of the trial.
