Fresh off whipping up his first batch of meth deep in the New Mexico desert, chemist teacher-turned-drug wizard Walter White hears sirens rolling his way. Half-dressed from his cook — and missing his pants, a frightened, underwear-clad Walt stands ready to kill himself at the end of the “Breaking Bad” pilot.
Five and a half years after the show debuted and just days away from its series finale, “Breaking Bad” is on everyone’s lips right now…and how better to show what a monster fan you are of the show than to own Walt’s tighty-whities?
And yes, these are really and truly the actual pair of undies that housed Bryan Cranston’s junk during the filming of the pilot.
Our buddies over at Thrillist are reporting on an auction of costumes and other props from the show currently going on, with those undies as one of the coolest items available. That is, If you consider another guy’s used briefs as cool…and strangely enough in this case, we pretty much do.
Jesse’s Hello Kitty phone, the pink teddy bear and “Tio” Salamanca’s wheelchair and bell (hopefully, pre-explosion) are some of the other amazing items up for bid. Also on the block: a nearly full fleet of the show’s awesome vehicles, including Skyler’s 1991 Jeep Grand Wagoneer, Jesse’s 1986 Toyota Tercel and even Walt’s own 2003 Pontiac Aztek.
