Crave’s ComicBookMovie.com reported Thursday about some slow-burning rumors of discord behind the scenes of Star Wars Episode VII.
Producer Kathleen Kennedy reportedly asked Disney to push the film back a year and open in 2016, to which Disney said no. Apparently the script, recently taken over by director J.J. Abrams and Lawrence Kasdan, is not even close to ready and Kennedy is worried.
Which brings us to some reported tense relations between Abrams and Kennedy. The director is reportedly becoming a little more autocratic which might rub Kennedy, who has worked with Steven Spielberg on some of the greatest movies of all time since the early 80’s, the wrong way.
We will have to see how all of this shakes out and affects Star Wars Episode VII.
