CBC Announces Winter Schedule

CBC is revved up for a great winter season, recently announcing their plans for the winter schedule, which will begin with the highly-anticipated 2014 Sochi Winter Games and followed by three new shows.

In the primetime slot the political satire “The Best Laid Plans” is debuting, which is based on author Terry Fallis’ award-winning novel. It airs on January 5th at 9pm. Then there’s the cooking competition “Recipe To Riches,” with judges Arlene Dickinson (“Dragons’ Den”), Gail Simmons (“Top Chef”) and Vikram Vij (chef and restaurateur), beginning February 26th at 9pm, and finally don’t miss the hunt for one-of-a-kind collectibles on “Four Rooms,” featuring buyers Derreck Martin, Eddy Rogo, Jessica Lindsay Phillips and Scott Landon and host Reshmi Nair. That gets started January 5th at 8pm.

“Arctic Air” is returning for season 3, as is the hit comedy “Mr. D,” this winter too.
