The last time Peter Parker faced off against three of his greatest villains in a film…well, it didn't go so well.
But let's assume the problems Sam Raimi faced packing the Green Goblin, Sandman and Venom into Spider-Man 3 won't be repeated in the hands of Marc Webb. And if the brand spanking new trailer for The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is any indication, we're gonna get a whole lot of Electro (Jamie Foxx), Rhino (Paul Giamatti) and the rebooted Green Goblin (Dane DeHaan) to keep Spider-Man (Andrew Garfield) busy this time around.
From what we see here, it also looks like the most prominent new wrinkle of Webb's first Spidey film — the mysterious disappearance of Peter's parents Richard and Mary (Campbell Scott and Embeth Davidtz) — will once again be front and center in ASM 2.
