A new drama in CTV, “Believe,” will be directed by Oscar winner Alfonso Cuarón and is set to be a mid-season premiere, which starts tonight.
From blockbuster producer J.J. Abrams (“Person of Interest,” “Star Trek”) and director Alfonso Cuarón who took home the Academy Award for “Gravity” last weekend, “Believe” tells the extraordinary story of Bo (newcomer Johnny Sequoyah), a young girl with special gifts she has never fully been able to understand or control. These very gifts are what have made Bo the target of harmful outside forces. “Believe” also stars Delroy Lindo (“The Chicago Code”) and Kyle MacLachlan (“Desperate Housewives”).
“’Believe’ is a dream collaboration between powerhouses J.J. Abrams and Alfonso Cuarón, anchored with an incredible breakout performance by Johnny Sequoyah,” said Mike Cosentino, Senior Vice-President, Programming. “The series is a potent combination of the supernatural, mystery, and drama that we think will have viewers on the edge of their seats.”
With the addition of “Believe” to CTV’s Sunday night lineup, “Castle” shifts to Mondays at 10pm on CTV beginning March 17th, and “Intelligence” moves to Mondays at 10pm on CTV Two as of March 10th.
