It’s the 100th birthday for Maserati, one of Italy’s classic super car creator and the builder of sophisticated machines sans wings, fins and marching bands — elite rides fit for a proper, secure and all grown up adult male.
To continue its anniversary celebration, Maserati used NYIAS 2014 to introduce the new GranTurismo MC Centennial Edition Range, offering new exterior and interior options to create signature commemoration vehicles.
Centennial Edition models feature three new ‘three-layer’ color schemes (left) in addition to the four already available for the GranTurismo MC. There are also new wheel choices, with each sporting a special 100th anniversary logo at the hub.
New interior options include color options designed to compliment exterior packages. For example, the special three-layer paint finishes on the outside include Magma Red and Inchiostro Blue, while the exterior finishes combine with a specific interior finish and leather upholstered seats boasting a decorative insert based on three colors (red, white and blue).
The GranTurismo MC Centennial Edition range is powered by a 454 horsepower, 4.7 liter V8, paired with a ZF six speed Automatic transmission, providing a top speed of 185 mph. It will go on sale in July 2014.
