Few things are more satisfying than when you're able to ward off a gank from another player in an MMO, let alone when that player is level capped and you aren't. Today, karma presented itself in WildStar to one player who was out to ruin the enjoyment of others.
Taugrim is a well-known YouTuber amongst MMO PvPers, particularly for making video guides aimed at players looking to improve their game. Today, he showed how his investment in good technique paid off when a level 50 Spellslinger got the jump on him. He was leveling his 39 Esper at the time, and despite the 11 level difference the battle ended with him on top.
This is a perfect example of how WildStar's action-oriented combat is one of its greatest assets. In most other MMOs the difference in stats between both players would have counter-acted a lot of the skill involved. Not in this case.
