“You haven’t seen the last of Dr. Otto Octavius!”
During Dan Slott’s run on Superior Spider-Man, Dr. Octopus used Peter Parker’s powers and body to become his ideal version of a superhero. But when Doc Ock came up against a problem that only Peter could solve, he disappeared into the timestream for several hours before he was saved by Horizon Labs.
Next month, Dan Slott and Christos Gage reunite to tell the story of what happened to Ock during those missing hours. Superior Spider-Man # 32 also serves as a prelude to the upcoming Spider-Verse event that will unite Spider-Man and his various incarnations across the multiverse.
Marvel has released the first few pages of Superior Spider-Man # 32 by artist Giuseppe Camuncol and Adam Kubert, as we see Doc Ock trying to stay free in the future world of Marvel 2099.
Superior Spider-Man # 32 will be released on Wednesday, August 06.
