Every episode of the ABC‘s satirical television current affairs series “Frontline”, is now available for streaming on YouTube.
Gizmodo reports, all three seasons of the ABC produced series, which ran from 1994-1997, has now been uploaded to the streaming site allowing both fans and those yet to be acquainted with Mike Moore and his news team the opportunity to binge on 33 episodes of behind the scenes current affair antics.
“Frontline” broke new ground in Australian situational comedy, with its characters and plot lines portrayed as thinly-disguised parodies of real people and very recent news events. The show satirised the tactics employed by current affairs news shows like foot-in-the-door interview techniques and chequebook journalism.
The Logie award-winning series was the work of the Working Dog Productions team, which included Jane Kennedy, Santo Cilauro, Rob Sitch and Tom Gleisner. They went on to produce several popular Australian movies including The Castle and The Dish.
