Cryptic Studios has announced that Neverwinter will be coming to consoles. Although it’s only been inferred that it’ll come to the PS4, it is confirmed to be coming to Xbox One first.
Perfect World Entertainment CEO Alan Chen shared the following about the announcement:
Neverwinter is our premier title to bring to console players. Consoles are a perfect fit for action-oriented MMORPGs like Neverwinter, and we are thrilled to be one of the first publishers to bring premium free-to-play titles to leading next-gen platforms. Being able to bring Neverwinter to the Xbox One is a critical achievement for Perfect World. It is our first step taking our games beyond the PC market.
Neverwinter is one of the best free-to-play MMORPGs on the PC market. Rooted in Dungeons & Dragons, it has a deep pocket of lore, and also one of the most exciting MMO combat systems in recent memory.

The console release will include several of the already released major updates, in addition to the Foundry, which allows players to design and share their own custom quests and levels using an impressive content creation toolkit.
Neverwinter will arrive on consoles for both North America and Europe during the “first half of 2015”.
