Sometimes we take sports a little too seriously. Sure, they’re making millions of dollars over any number of years while we watch from the stands or our homes with beer and hot dog in hand, but that doesn’t mean these people aren’t human. They make mistakes.
This just happened to be a very funny one. During the recent Oakland Athletics and Kansas City Royals game, outfielder Josh Reddick was making a throw to third after getting his glove on the ball, and…it went about two feet, allowing the runner to keep going.
Hey, it happens. When it does, it reminds us all that it does indeed happen to the very best of us. I’m sure Josh laughed about it plenty.
