The NFL takes its no-contact practice rules very seriously. The Seattle Seahawks allegedly violated those rules back in mid June of this year. This resulted in the team and coach being collectively fined over 300 grand, and also being docked two double practices.
With more and more injuries happening in the off season, it’s not a surprise that the NFL is cracking down on this. Funny thing is, Seahawks coach Pete Carroll has already been around the block as far as fines for no-contact violations are concerned.
