Organisers of Falls Festival and Southbound have expanded the lineups for the their 2014/2015 celebrations, to include acts such as Ásgeir who will play both festivals, plus Dan Sultan and Cloud Control who were added to the Falls lineup.
They will join artists such as Alt-J, Glass Animals and The Black Lips, who were named as a part of Falls and Southbound’s first artist announcement in late August.
Also joining the Falls lineup will be Aussie acts Kingswood, Fishing, Thelma Plum, Northeast Party House and Art Of Sleeping. Extra acts have also been added to the festival’s ‘Boogie Nights’ celebrations. See below for more details.
Falls Festival’s 2014/2015 dates and locations were unveiled back in July, confirming that festival organisers have decided to once again return to Marion Bay, Lorne and also the Byron Bay site following a very successful maiden event in 2013.
The festival’s ticket ballot was flooded with unprecedented demand last weekand suffered from technical issues, leaving some punters frustrated when trying to purchase 3 and 4 day passes. Allocations for all ticket types have been set aside for sale at 9am AEST, Wednesday, 3rd September via the festival website. See the festival’s ticket information page for more details.
Southbound 2015 will hit West Australia’s Bussleton next January following Falls Festival. The 2015 event is seeing a major camping shakeup this year, giving punters the opportunity to camp right next to their cars, making the process a lot smoother for all involved. Southbound have also promised more local acts and the Concert Club lineup to be announced in the coming months.
