The Laneway Festival has revealed its run of dates and venues around Australia, New Zealand and Singapore for January and February 2015.
Tuesday’s announcement of five Australian stops in Brisbane, Sydney, Adelaide, Melbourne and Fremantle will be followed by the full lineup confirmation on Thursday, October 2.
Punters can expect a few changes in addition to what the festival is calling an “A+ lineup”, including 16+ shows for younger fans in Brisbane and Adelaide while all other stops remain strictly 18 and up events.
Brisbane will feature at a more spacious location at the RNA Showgrounds while also being held on a Saturday for the first time in six years. Laneway Sydney is returning to SCA in Rozelle and the Esplanade Reserve in the heart of Fremantle replaces previous Western Australian visits to Perth.
Electronic stars FKA Twigs and Banks have already been rumoured to be part of next month’s lineup announcement as well as Chicago rapper Vic Mensa.
This year’s Laneway festival was headlined by Lorde, Earl Sweatshirt and Chvrches.
