In case you missed it (which you might have if you’ve lived at the bottom of the Pacific ocean your whole life), Derek Jeter is swiftly winding down his final year in Major League Baseball. He has struggled this season, unfortunately, and his batting average leaves something to be desired. However, his fans showed that he is still very relevant and worthy of support by buying up his jerseys in record numbers, beating out Clayton Kershaw and Mike Trout.
Derek said it felt good knowing that his fans respected how he plays; he takes it as a big compliment.
