BOTM Session: Watch Vintage Trouble Kick Our Hearts in With ‘Another Man’s Words’

Leading the modern soul-rock movement, Vintage Trouble are currently fine-tuning the frequency of musical passion with a fan conversion rate hovering near the hundred-percent range at their electrifying live shows. As they kicked off their current tour in support of their new EP The Swing House Sessions, the band stopped in for an exclusive Band of The Month performance for Crave.

Formed in 2010 by Ty Taylor (vocals), Nalle Colt (guitar), Rick Barrio (bass), and Richard Danielson (drums), Vintage Trouble are rooted in Hollywood, California, where they recorded their debut album, The Bomb Shelter Sessions, in just three days. Bursting with charisma and boasting a voice at the crossroads of Terrence Trent D’Arby and James Brown, Taylor leads the charge in a four-man power play on emotive flamboyance and razor-sharp showmanship.

The band brought their prime blend of R&B, soul, motown and rock to our latest Band of The Month taping at Swing House – the same spot where VT recorded their latest EP The Swing House Acoustic Sessions. After a captivating take on “Lo and Behold” and a riotously rockin’ take on “Run Like The River,” we continue our Band of The Month feature spotlight on Vintage Trouble with an achingly poignant take on their heartslugger track “Another Man’s Words”. This one brings the serious goosebumps… and possibly more, for whose who can relate to the lyrics more than they’d like to. Check it out below, exclusively on CraveOnline.
