For a while now, the Dallas Cowboys were America’s favorite NFL team. They’ve always been that team for many people, and with good reason. They’ve had a host of amazing talent, won five Super Bowls, and have classy uniforms that have changed very little over the years. Oh, and let’s not forget their world-famous cheerleaders:
Their fans, for the longest time, have represented true American patriotism and love for sports, but it seems there’s been a change.
According to a recent Harris poll of nearly three thousand people, the Denver Broncos have arisen to claim the number one spot on the list of favorite NFL teams. While not quite as winning as Dallas, they have earned their place in NFL history. The Broncos have brought two Super Bowl wins home and have showcased talent such as Peyton Manning, John Elway (may he reign supreme forever), Rod Smith, Shannon Sharpe, Terrell Davis, and Jason Elam.
According to most of you out there, Denver has done plenty, and has had enough amazing talent, to deserve the number one spot in your hearts and minds, at least for the time being.
