VHS: Exclusive Death Infographic

If you’re anything like us, you’ve seen a lot of people get murdered. In movies! In movies, we promise!

And no genre of movies appreciates death quite like the horror genre. We love horror movies here at CraveOnline, but we also love taxonomy. So when the opportunity came to premiere this exclusive demographic from the largely awesome VHS franchise, cataloguing every death scene so far, we said, “Well, yeah. That’s the kind of morbid stuff we love!”

And of course, it’s perfectly timed for the release of the third film in the series, VHS: Viral, directed by Nacho Vigalondo (Timecrimes), Gregg Bishop (Dance of the Dead), Marcel Sarmiento (Deadgirl) and Justin Benson & Aaron Moorhead (Resolution).

The plot of VHS Viral goes a little something like this:

A police chase after a deranged ice cream truck has captivated the attention of the greater Los Angeles area. Dozens of fame—obsessed teens flock to the streets with their video cameras and camera phones, hell—bent on capturing the next viral video. But there is something far more sinister occurring in the streets of L.A. than a simple police chase. A resounding effect is created onto all those obsessed with capturing salacious footage for no other purpose than to amuse or titillate. Soon the discovery becomes that they themselves are the stars of the next video, one where they face their own death.

VHS: Viral hits theaters on November 21, 2014, and is now available on VOD. Check out the infograpic to see all the gruesome brutality the franchise has given us so far!
