A true gentleman knows the importance of balancing work and play, and at The Gentlemen’s Expo they certainly had a number of cool options to fill that play requirement.
For the active gentleman, the Expo had an indoor rock-climbing wall, a “smash cage” for dudes to try out their serve, and a number of virtual sports set-ups from soccer to hockey to football. One of the more exciting set-ups is from the International Paintball Group, who are showing off their newest set-up in Barrie that models their fields on movies such as Tomb Raider, Tropic Thunder, and Resident Evil. Playing through some of these courses with a couple of buds would be great way of spending a weekend, or two.
On the other side of the spectrum, The Gentlemen’s Expo also had a vintage arcade set up of a number of classic video game consoles (five to be exact): the Nintendo Entertainment System, the Super Nintendo, Nintendo 64, Sega Master System and Sega Genesis. It’s nice as a gentleman to be able take a little time to think back to when you were just a little gentleman and play some Sonic the Hedgehog, Super Punch-Out, or Tony Hawk’s Underground. A quality set of vintage console games is a definite plus in any man cave, and it will give you one more chance to beat your friends at Goldeneye with proximity mines in the caves.
