Liam Neeson has been a headliner in the action film arena for the greater part of a decade at least, with a major list of movies filling up his back catalogue before that. He’s made quite the career for himself, and there’s no denying that. Simply put, he’s likely starting to feel his years (he’s 62), and when asked if he’s going to continue carrying the flag of the aging action star, he responded with:
Maybe two more years. If God spares me and I’m healthy. But after that, I’ll stop [the action] I think.
Can’t blame him, honestly, can we? He can settle down if he chooses; he’s delivered enough action and gritty one-liners to whet the appetite of even the most rabid action fans.
As forgiving as we may be, it might still be hard to see him in other types of roles. Do you think he should stick to what he’s good at, or would it get…old? (pardon the pun)
