PC Dominates in GTA V PS3 vs PS4 vs PC Comparison

For PC gamers the wait for Grand Theft Auto V has been long and agonizing. It was as early as August 2013 that information began to leak regarding a PC version of what was originally announced to be an Xbox 360 and PS3 exclusive game. Since then, PS4 and Xbox One versions have found their way to store shelves in addition to an announcement being made for a PC version, later followed by a delay. But next month that’ll all be history.

A video created by UHDGaming on YouTube shows comparisons between official screenshots taken at precise locations in the PS3, PS4, and PC versions of GTA V. Although the PC build was pre-release at the time of the screenshots being taken, and therefore still under development, its advantages are astounding.

Seen above, the video clearly demonstrates that the PC version running on Ultra settings is something remarkable. Remember, the PC version not only has 4K support, and can run at 60 FPS with better anti-aliasing methods, but it has all the following as listed by Rockstar:

  • New weapons, vehicles and activities
  • Additional wildlife
  • Denser traffic
  • New foliage system
  • Enhanced damage and weather effects, and much more

To put it simply, the wait will be worth it. Though, you’re going to need a killer PC to run it anywhere near its full potential.
