Cameron Crowe’s ‘Aloha’ Soundtrack Constellates Sigur Ros, Beck, Fleetwood Mac

The soundtrack to Cameron Crowe‘s upcoming film Aloha is another fascinating one from the Singles mastermind, featuring songs by Kurt Vile, Beck, the Tallest Man on Earth and more.

Sigur Rós frontman Jónsi and partner Alex Somers cut their teeth on soundtrack when they scored the WGN series “Manhattan” last year. Jónsi also scored the film We Bought a Zoo in 2011, which Somers produced.

Opening May 29, Aloha stars Bradley Cooper milking that patriot-fever money once again as a military contractor who returns to the U.S. Space Program in Honolulu, where his ex (Rachel McAdams) and and an Air Force soldier (Emma Stone) create a dramatic whirlwind of undoubtedly completely new and original love triangle narratives that will dominate the box office. Just kidding. Oddly, Bill Murray, John Krasinski, Danny McBride, and Alec Baldwin are peppered in.

Fans will remember the epic timepiece soundtrack to Cameron Crowe’s grunge-era film Singles, which featured original songs from Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, Screaming Trees, Smashing Pumpkins and more.
