It’s bound to be a bittersweet year for fans of The Hunger Games. The hit book series and monumentally successful movie franchise appears to be coming to a close with the release of The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2 on November 20, 2015. But don’t let those tears wipe away your excitement to see how it’s all going to end. The first trailer for the final film has just premiered online, and it’s got all the explosions and hugs we’ve come to expect from the series.

When last we left The Hunger Games, Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence) has just rescued Peeta (Josh Hutcherson), but President Snow (Donald Sutherland) remained at large, and as dangerous as ever. From the new trailer we see that the assault on the Capitol is about to begin, but that – somehow – it’s all leading up to the 76th Hunger Games, either literally or figuratively.
