Apple Music have announced a series of radio shows on their forthcoming Beats 1 radio station, and the list of hosts has us pretty damned excited.
Apple have confirmed that Queens Of The Stone Age nucleus Josh Homme, Pharrell Williams, Drake, Dr. Dre, St Vincent, Disclosure, Elton John and Will Smith’s son, Jaden Smith, will host shows on the station. Let’s just forget that last one, cause homie is borderline retarded and anyone who’s seen his Twitter timeline can attest to the fact that he should definitely not be given a public forum.
Anyway, Apple’s latest announcement comes on the heels of their much-debated new streaming service, announced at its developers’ conference in San Francisco earlier this month (June 8). The service will launch on June 30, as will Beats 1.

Apple Music has been under a firestorm of criticism for its plans to avoid paying musicians, producers, songwriters or rights holders during a three-month free trial offered to listeners. The company was called out by Taylor Swift, and quickly changed their tune, confirming that it will be now be compensating artists during the period.
