What time is it?! Well… since you clicked on this post, you know what time it is!
Pendleton Ward’s Adventure Time has been a charmingly weird (but mostly weird) blockbuster for Cartoon Network since 2010. It’s perhaps the only post-apocalyptic children’s show currently being broadcast, but it’s bizarre and offbeat tone has won the series several adult fans as well.
Adventure Time follows the last human boy, Finn (Jeremy Shada) and his adoptive brother, a shape-changing talking dog named Jake (John DiMaggio). Together, they seek adventure in the Land of Ooo, which is populated with unique individuals like Princess Bubblegum (Hynden Walch), Marceline the Vampire Queen (Olivia Olson), and of course, The Ice King (Tom Kenny).
The seventh season of Adventure Time is coming this fall to Cartoon Network, with an eighth season also on the docket and a movie potentially on the way. Titan Books is setting the stage for the new episodes by releasing its newest Adventure Time art book: Adventure Time: The Original Cartoon Title Cards (Vol 2) Seasons 3 & 4.
As the name suggests, this book will feature the beautiful title card art that was featured in each episode from the third and fourth season, as well as process art, early prelims, and commentary from the artists themselves, including Natasha Allegri, Gunnar Gilmore, Tom Herpich, Nick Jennings, Andy Ristaino, Rebecca Sugar, Michelle Xin, and Pendleton Ward.
Ahead of the book’s release on August 4th, Titan Books has provided CraveOnline with an exclusive preview of five of the title cards included in Adventure Time: The Original Cartoon Title Cards (Vol 2)!
