Kevin O’Leary Chosen As Judge For Miss America Competition

Shark Tank‘s Kevin O’Leary, along with Taya Kyle, widow of American Sniper author Chris Kyle, and snowboarder Amy Purdy, will be judging this year’s Miss America competition, taking place in September.

O’Leary, who got his celeb start on CBC’s Dragons’ Den, has become a mainstay on Shark Tank. The multi-millionaire is also a photographer, something he originally aspired to be when he was younger.

According to The Associated Press, fans will have a hand in the judging of the Miss America pageant this year and can vote through September 10th via Facebook and Twitter for their top choice – the fan favorite will move on to the top 15 in the competition.

The Miss America Pageant, which takes place on September 13th, will be the 90th anniversary of the annual broadcast. It’ll be broadcast from Atlantic City’s Boardwalk Hall. More hosts and judges will be announced in the coming weeks.
