It is always a good day on the West Coast when your favorite fabric mill teams up with the one footwear staple you have no shame in buying each and ever year. Pendleton Woolen Mills, a family owned operation founded in 1863, based in Portland, Oregon, is lending their signature prints to the So Cal skate company, Vans.
The Pendleton Woolen Mills x Vans winter 2015 collaboration features a whopping 8 different silhouettes, and two different colorways, plus one hat to add to your growing accessory collection, and a few iterations for the kiddos.
The best part of this remix may very well be it’s affordability. If you’ve been a fan of Pendleton for some time, there’s a chance you’re a fan from afar. American made with the highest qualities, their goods are not cheap. Take this blanket for example – great print, would look stellar in the apartment, but it will run you about $250. But to get some Pendleton in your sneaker collection, they’re just slightly more expensive than the styles in traditional canvas or leather. The stand out in the collection: the Vans x Pendleton Sk8-Hi Mte in Tribal/Tan for $85.
