Triple j‘s weekly covers segment Like A Version has finally given Australia’s canine population the artistic recognition it deserves, allowing local flap-hat-wearing bulldog Ziggy to perform a very special “canine Like A Version” cover of Hudson Mohawke’s banger Chimes.
Ziggy, who also goes by the name Ziggy Stardust (because of course he does), stopped by triple j Breakfast to hang out with hosts Matt Okine and Alex Dyson, before lending his barks talents to Hud Mo’s trap classic, creating what Okine and Dyson have called EDM, or “Electronic Dog Music”.
After laying down his sweet vocals, Ziggy Stardust proceeded to trash the triple j studio by walking over the control desk and turning off everyone’s mic but his. What a ledge. Catch Ziggy Stardust’s canine Like A Version segment below, and just try not to smile.
