The soundtrack for Star Wars: The Force Awakens is set to be released soon, and the vinyl edition will come with a special addition.
The actual vinyl itself will have a 3D hologram etched into its centre – with one side set to feature the millennium falcon and the other a TIE fighter.
The creation of Tristan Duke, the same guy who created the floating hologram featured on Jack White’s 2014 Lazaretto LP.
The hologram on the John Williams-scored soundtrack moves as the record spins – and can be viewed by looking at the vinyl in direct light from a certain angle, or by shining a torch onto the disc.
