Exclusive Preview | ‘Injustice: Gods Among Us Year Five’ Chapter # 25

Five years ago, Superman killed the Joker to avenge his wife and their unborn child. That was the genesis of the hit video game, Injustice: Gods Among Us, and its digital first prequel comic from DC Comics.

The Injustice comic is nearing its endgame as the events in the book catch up with the game. Superman and most of the Justice League have seized control of the Earth, with only Batman and handful of superheroes left to oppose them. Now, Superman has struck at Batman’s heart by unleashing the killer Victor Zsasz to murder Alfred Pennyworth, the beloved Wayne family butler!

In CraveOnline’s exclusive preview for Injustice: Year Five Chapter # 25, Batman and his estranged son, Damian Wayne (the Nightwing of this nightmarish world) have cornered Zsasz, and his fate is in their hands. But Superman is also there, and he may be hoping that Batman finally comes around to his way of thinking.

Writer Brian Buccellato teams up with artist Mike S. Miller and colorist J. Nanjan for the latest chapter of Injustice. Here’s the official description from DC Comics:

“Batman and Nightwing’s confrontation over the fate of Victor Zsasz leads to the appearance of Superman and a dilemma for the Dark Knight. There’s a chance Batman could end this war once and for all, but it would require Batman to cross a line he’s previously never crossed.”

Injustice: Year Five Chapter # 25 will be available for download Tuesday, June 7th via the DC Comics App, Readdcentertainment.com, iBooks, comiXology, Google Play, Kindle Store, Nook Store, and iVerse ComicsPlus.
