I will never know why some people are OK with spending hundreds upon hundreds of dollars on a pair of sneakers, only because a musician or an athlete are behind them. Because when it comes down to it it will pretty much look like any other pair of sneakers. And it seems like the folks below thought exactly that when they were presented with what they thought were a pair of Yeezys.
Jimmy Kimmel is pretty well known for reminding everyone just how dumb the majority of the people in this country are. That’s why he was able to convince some people that Martin Luther King Jr. (who has been dead almost 50 years) endorsed Donald Trump. That’s why this time around people actually believed that the $14 pair of kicks they were holding were West ‘Yeezy Boost 750 Chocolate — a pair of sneakers that go for $350, but are going as much as $1,200 on eBay. They also look like this:
