Exclusive Preview | ‘Salem’ Season 3 Episode 2

The witches of Salem have raised the devil, but he’s not bound to play by their rules! In last week’s third season premiere of Salem, the devil informed the witches that he had no intention of giving them their own land or honoring the agreements that they thought were in place. But the greater horrors are still to come.

Tituba had a terrifying glimpse of the future under the devil’s rule, and she quickly determined that only Mary Sibley could stop the darkness that she brought into the world…and Tituba didn’t let a little thing like Mary being dead get in her way! Tituba joined with the Essex witches to resurrect Mary, which apparently worked. But it did nothing to secure her aligence.

In CraveOnline’s exclusive preview from the next episode of Salem, Mary is less than enthusiastic about helping her fellow witches save themselves and the world. There’s only one person that Mary cares about other than herself, and his potential fate may be the only thing that can change her mind.

Here’s the extended description of tomorrow night’s episode from WGN America:

“In ‘The Heart is a Devil’ – written by co-creator Adam Simon (The Haunting in Connecticut) and directed by Tim Andrew (Teen Wolf) – Tituba explains to Mary that she’s stuck in Salem by the Essex tree and her mission is to kill the Boy. Mary goes to Alden and explains that he needs to fight the war on the outside while she fights it on the inside. The Sentinel puts Mary to a test and she later attempts to drown the Boy. Sebastian and Anne force Cotton to make a speech at the church to ease the growing panic among the people. Cotton doesn’t want to work with the boy, but realizes this is his only chance at escaping this hell. Alden begins training the troops and Mercy puts a spell on Hathorne…

The next episode of Salem season 3 will be broadcast on Wednesday, November 9 at 9:00 pm ET/PT, only on WGN America.
