Forget breaking the internet. The Warriors’ Steph Curry nearly broke the sport of basketball last year after his continued dominance from behind the three-point line.
Unfortunately the side effect of Curry is what you see below — A half court shot from a high school kid … in game … not at the end of the quarter … not to beat a shot clock … just heaving one up from half court because he knows he can.
Here’s LaMelo Ball of Chino Hills (Calif.) doing the best baby Curry impression we’ve ever seen.
LaMelo is the younger brother of Lonzo Ball, a star freshman at UCLA.
What’s crazier is that there’s actually a trio of Balls. LiAngelo is the middle brother who is currently a senior at Chino Hills, who is also committed to UCLA. And oh ya, he dropped 72 points on a team earlier this season.
It should also be noted that LaMelo’s team won. It’s reportedly their 47th straight.
