Josh Gad Makes Celebrities Beg Daisy Ridley for ‘Star Wars’ Spoilers

Being a diehard Star Wars fan comes with a unique set of challenges, especially when you’re working with one of the lead actors in the franchise and they refuse to answer your questions. That’s the plight of Josh Gad at any rate. He’s been co-starring in Kenneth Branagh’s remake of Murder on the Orient Express with Star Wars: The Last Jedi‘s Daisy Ridley, and in one adorable video after another she’s refused to share any damned spoilers with him whatsoever.

In what appears to be one last-ditch effort to pry juicy secrets out of Daisy Ridley, Josh Gad has put a little surprise together, in the form of an all-star celebrity super-geek intervention. Earlier today Josh Gad posted an Instagram video in which he promises not to ask any more Star Wars questions but then introduces his co-star to a room full of actors and filmmakers who have questions of their own.

We don’t want to ruin all the surprise guest stars in this video but suffice it to say, some of them should already know the answers, since they’re making Star Wars movies of their own. But keep an eye out for some big names from other blockbuster franchises too, because it seems everybody Josh Gad could find was willing to join in the silliness.

And a lot credit goes to Daisy Ridley for being a good sport about all this. Can you imagine having to keep a whole bunch of secrets from a charming comedian like Josh Gad for weeks or even months? Especially when he’s constantly begging you for answers? You’d need nerves of steel and the patience of a saint.

Watch the clip below, and let it brighten your day.
