First Look At BBC America’s ‘Planet Earth II’ Episode 3

Over a decade ago, BBC released a groundbreaking documentary series called Planet Earth. In late 2016, the sequel, Planet Earth II, made its debut on BBC, and once again delivered astonishing visuals and transformed a baby iguana into an unlikely action hero.

BBC America is bringing Planet Earth II to North America, with the third episode scheduled to drop this Saturday. CraveOnline is proud to present a clip from the third episode, which focuses on the creatures that live in the jungle. For this particular clip, a young female spider monkey goes on an adventure as she climbs higher than ever before. But the higher she goes, the greater the danger. Fortunately, the video reveals the strong family ties between the spider monkey and her father, and it’s also quite touching.

We follow alongside the beautiful indri as she bounces through the forest in Madagascar and stay out late at night to witness glow-in-the-dark creatures never before filmed! There are even mini ‘dragon lizards’ with a special trick to deal with life in the jungle!

Planet Earth II episode 3 will make its North American debut on Saturday, March 4 at 9pm on BBC America.
