Big Brother fans, rejoice, as Season 5 of the Canadian version kicks off this Wednesday, March 15th at 9pm on Global. And what’s this year’s twist?
Well, their adage “expect the unexpected” gets started right off the bat as eight houseguests from previous season return along with eight new houseguests – the 16 participants will compete to win the coveted title of Big Brother Canada. The winner will also receive a grand prize of $100,000, a $30,000 gift card from The Brick, and a brand-new 2017 Toyota ’86.
Some of the new houseguests include a student, a bartender, a real state broker, a professional pizza maker, and a heavyweight boxer. BB vets that are returning to the game are Gary “Glitter” Levy, Dallas Cormier, Cassandra Shahinfar, and Neda Kalantar, to name just a few.
Also new to this season is After the Eviction Live, a weekly Facebook Live chat featuring an extended evicted houseguest interview hosted by Arisa Cox where fans can ask questions live.
Big Brother Canada airs Wednesdays at 9pm, Thursdays at 8pm and Mondays at 9pm on Global.
