Top 7 Acts On The “I Love The 90s” Tour

The inaugural edition of I Love The 90s Tour invites attendees to reminisce about the trend-setting decade with some of the most iconic, indelible names in rap, hip hop and R&B.

The tour features performances by a revolving line-up of iconic ’90s artists. Audiences can expect to hear chart-topping hits like “Let’s Talk About Sex,” “Shoop,” “Ice, Ice Baby,” “I Wanna Sex You Up,” “Just A Friend,” “Funky Cold Medina,” “It Takes Two” and “Gangsta’s Paradise.”

Here are the top 7 acts on the I Love The 90s Tour, which is making a number of Canadian stops.

Vanilla Ice

His last album,  WTF – Wisdom, Tenacity & Focus, came out in 2011, but everyone still can’t help but sing along to “Ice, Ice Baby” (stop, collaborate and listen…)

Salt N Pepa with Spinderella

This threesome’s hit song “Shoop” made a comeback after it was featured in the blockbuster Marvel movie Deadpool, and they released a compilation album in 2011 called Icon.

Color Me Badd

In 2015, lead singer Bryan Abrams and second tenor Mark Calderon reunited, touring briefly with Bell Biv DeVoe. They’re back to sex you up!

Coolio

Many might be surprised to know that in addition to creating independent records, the “Gangster’s Paradise” artist has also established a name for himself in the cooking world, hosting a cooking web series and also releasing a cookbook.

Tone Loc

He hasn’t released anything since 1991’s Cool Hand Lōc, he’s had songs in various movies, worked with different artists (like Fefe Dobson), and has been on the I Love The 90s tour since last April.

Rob Base

Part of the hip-hop duo with DJ E-Z Rock (who died in 2014), Rob Base continues to make their hit song “It Takes Two” a mainstay in 90s music history.

Young MC

Are you ready to bust a move? Young MC has been making music since his rush of popularity in the 90s, and he has also made a number of appearances in movies and on television.
